Meet the Leadership Team

Our founders have a history of crafting and executing business strategies in clean energy new markets. We have forged prominent positions in the US offshore wind and clean energy sectors and nurtured essential relationships with key industry stakeholders.

We have a network of experienced professionals to tap into when additional expertise is needed.

  • Co-Founder

    Paula has two decades of extensive experience in renewable energy project development across the Americas. Most recently, she served as SVP Offshore North America for Mainstream Renewable Power, where she developed and led the North American business unit. In this role, Paula built and managed a multinational, multidisciplinary team of development professionals and led the company’s participation in BOEM’s New York Bight and California offshore wind lease auctions.

    A recognized leader in the industry, Paula is a Founding Member and former Board Chair of Offshore Wind California (OWC), playing a key role in advancing the state’s 25 GW floating offshore wind target. She also served on the Board of Oceantic (formerly the Business Network for Offshore Wind, BNOW), where she focused on strengthening the domestic supply chain for offshore wind, and was a member of the Offshore Wind Council for American Clean Power (ACP).

    Prior to her offshore wind leadership roles, Paula led Mainstream’s Energy Analysis Group for the Americas. There, she oversaw wind farm origination, layout design, energy analysis, uncertainty assessment, and technical due diligence for projects spanning greenfield development, acquisitions, and financial close.

    Paula holds an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurial Studies from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BScE (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University in Canada.

  • Co-Founder

    Katherine led the bid preparation and auction participation for the New York Bight offshore wind lease auction. She led a team of 20 across the JV partners covering all development workstreams, and a budget of $1.5 million. She successfully obtained a $750 million bidding approval from the board.

    With over 7 years of experience in energy markets, her expertise was key in the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (“BOEM”) New York Bight (“NYB”) and California lease auctions to articulate the value of offshore wind for each region to stakeholders, investigating key factors such as price curves, load growth, generation mix, and state and inter-state transmission.

    Katherine guided teams globally as adviser in investigation of energy markets. She engaged with national and regional industry groups to help shape energy markets for US Offshore Wind.

    Katherine holds an MBA with a focus on Sustainability and Entrepreneurship from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BSE in Electrical Engineering and Certificate in Finance from Princeton University.
