Meet the Leadership Team

Our founders have a history of crafting and executing business strategies in clean energy new markets. We've forged prominent positions in the US offshore wind and clean energy sectors and nurtured essential relationships with key industry stakeholders.

  • Co-Founder

    Paula has two decades of extensive experience as a developer in the wind, solar, and offshore wind energy sectors spanning the Americas. Formerly serving as the SVP Offshore North America for Mainstream Renewable Power, she played a pivotal role by developing and leading the offshore wind business in North America. Paula spearheaded a multinational and multidisciplinary team of development professionals that participated in BOEM’s New York Bight and California offshore wind lease auctions.

    Her influence in the industry is underscored by her roles as a Founding Member and Board Chair of Offshore Wind California (OWC), a crucial player in attaining California’s ambitious goal of 25 GW of floating offshore wind. Additionally, she served as a Board Member of Oceantic (formerly the Business Network for Offshore Wind 'BNOW'), with a focus on preparing the domestic supply chain for the offshore wind industry. Paula also held the position of Offshore Wind Council Member for America Clean Power (ACP).

    Before assuming leadership in offshore wind, Paula led the Energy Analysis Group for the Americas for Mainstream. In this capacity, she was responsible for wind farm origination, layout design, energy analysis, uncertainty assessment, and technical suitability for projects throughout the Americas, encompassing acquisition opportunities, greenfield projects, and financial close.

    Paula earned an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurial Studies from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BScE Honors in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University, Canada.

  • Co-Founder

    Katherine led the bid preparation and auction participation for the New York Bight offshore wind lease auction. She led a team of 20 across the JV partners covering all development workstreams, and a budget of $1.5 million. She successfully obtained a $750 million bidding approval from the board.

    With over 7 years of experience in energy markets, her expertise was key in the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (“BOEM”) New York Bight (“NYB”) and California lease auctions to articulate the value of offshore wind for each region to stakeholders, investigating key factors such as price curves, load growth, generation mix, and state and inter-state transmission.

    Katherine guided teams globally as adviser in investigation of energy markets. She engaged with national and regional industry groups to help shape energy markets for US Offshore Wind.

    Katherine holds an MBA with a focus on Sustainability and Entrepreneurship from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BSE in Electrical Engineering and Certificate in Finance from Princeton University.
